If there is any philanthropist in Nigeria that has helped the poor more, it’s arguably Kokun Foundation, from inception the foundation haven’t stopped reaching out to Nigerians, touching lives, taking kids out of the streets. what else can i say, someone once envisaged that Buhari’s government should appoint the CEO, making him the minister of humanitarian affairs.
However the popular philanthropist shared a video where he was spotted with some group of boys living under the popular Otedola bridge in Lagos, he later gave them N3000 each and promised to visit them again.
In his caption he wrote “If you always pass Otedola under bridge, you will notice there’s Pipeline under the bridge where so many young boys always bath!
Today I visited them and it’s so sadden to hear that that’s where they cook, sleep and eat for so many years!
The best I can do now is to get maybe three rooms for them and try and enroll all of them to a trade they want to learn!
Let’s do more than Talk!
If you recalled, he once helped a young lady, after her video went viral for speaking out while protesting the Okada ban in some parts of Lagos with her Gokada colleagues.
Following the proscription of motorcycles and tricycles movement in some parts of Lagos state, the video of the female rider surfaced as she was bitterly appealing to the state government to reverse her decision.
The video went viral back then and appealed to the founders of Kokun Foundation, so he gave her a Toyota Corolla 2004 model for Taxify.
