Nigeria Super Eagles lose to Algeria during the semi final Africa Cup of Nations 2019.

Half way through the match, Algeria started leading Nigeria after Super Eagles player William Troost-Ekong played an own goal.

Odion Ighalo was able to score one goal at about 72 minutes into the match to equalize with Algeria.

At the end of the 90 mins, extra time was given, 5 mins. Riyad Mahrez scored the goal that gave Algeria victory during a free kick.
