Edo election: Ize-Iyamu beaten by Obaseki in his own LGA

Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Saturday’s Edo State Governorship election has been beaten by Governor Godwin Obaseki in his own Local Government Area, Orhionmwon LGA.

Ize-Iyamu also lost in all the local government areas of Edo South Senatorial District, his home district.

Also, billionaire businessman, Captain Hosa Okunbo, who is reported to be Ize-Iyamu’s main financier and backer, suffered a similar defeat in his polling unit and Oredo Local government area. In Oredo Ward 2, Unit 3, APC polled 59 and the PDP polled 198, The Will reports.
